Harry Leader and his Band recorded the song "Little Man You've Had a Busy Day" in London on June 28, 1934, for the Eclipse label. Leader was a successful band leader known for his work on the British radio program Workers Playtime, begun as a morale booster during World War II in 1941. The vocals on this song were performed by Dawn Davis, who sang with several British bands in the 1930s and 1940s, and also had a successful solo career.
